Highly recommend! This was our favorite meal during our trip to NOLA. Joey was AMAZING - friendly, welcoming, helpful with the menu and area recommendations. This was the best service I can remember! We were very happy with our choices. Even though we were full, the key lime pie looked delectable and we devoured it! Don’t miss this gem!
Definitely a restaurant added to every trip to NOLA. The food is so good. Be sure to have the shrimp toast . Oyster and fried oysters all excellent. So much food I didn't get to try but will be back 100%. Bar seating, if available, is open seating. If you want a table I would highly recommend reservations. Excellent energy and a tru jewel in this amazing city.
One of the most memorable meals I had in New Orleans. The flavors were layered, creative, and full of surprises, clearly the result of a thoughtful kitchen. I was also impressed by how smoothly the restaurant was run. Our server asked for our full order at the start to ensure perfect timing between courses and help the kitchen with planning, which was a unique approach but made the experience feel seamless. I ordered the baked drum, and it was outstanding. I highly recommend it!
This is my favorite restaurant in NOLA! The food was so good that we came back the very next night for dinner. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and incredibly well prepared. My top picks were the seafood gumbo, snapper ceviche, spicy ground shrimp pasta, and the whole redfish. The Brussels sprouts made for a fantastic side, and for dessert, the carrot cake with ice cream is an absolute must try. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation.
Was looking for something off the beating path near the quarter with good seafood. Found Peche to have a great selection of appetizers, raw bar and entrees. The atmosphere was great, my server Austin was fantastic along with Mary Petty overseeing that quality service is given and excellent food delivered. Hats off to the chef, my meal was the grilled red fish and it was cooked perfectly and served with an excellent sauce on top. The raw bar selections were fresh and my coworker enjoyed his shrimp entree. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and enjoy a cocktail and meal. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support local restaurants and avoid chains!
Such a beautiful space! Food was so good - my waiter recommended getting a few small plates and he definitely steered me in the right direction. I loved that they had their staple menu but also a small daily menu. Delicious cocktails as well!
If you’re in New Orleans and craving incredibly fresh seafood with bold, exciting flavors — look no further than Peche Seafood Grill. Nestled in the trendy Warehouse District, this spot absolutely nails the balance between Southern tradition and modern creativity. From the moment you walk in, the place feels alive — the open kitchen, the warm lighting, and the casual, welcoming vibe all set the tone for a great meal. But the real magic is on the plate. We started with the smoked tuna dip (served with saltines, very New Orleans), and I could’ve eaten three servings — rich, smoky, creamy perfection. The whole grilled fish, though, stole the show. Cooked over an open flame, it had that perfect balance of char and tenderness. Not only was it packed with flavor, but it was also huge — perfect for sharing. And trust me, you’ll want to.
The Baseline: For a seafood fine dining the fish/seafood needs to be fresh, the presentation must excel beyond a casual seafood place, there must be a selection of accompanying offerings, and there are unique offerings. Food: It has been 15 years since I have tried a raw oyster because of a bad experience at an unrelated restaurant. I heard that Peche was one of the best in New Orleans. Thanks to Peche, I broke my 15 years hiatus and I am enjoying raw oysters again. Drinks were awesome, flavorful, and loaded properly with the right amount of booze. The Little Red Corvette was my favorite, but angry pirate and the chamomile circuit hit my cocktail spot as well. I also had several of the other small plate and entree offerings which were excellent. The Jumbo Shrimp with coconut, cauliflower, and rice grits was delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The Seafood Gumbo is good but is very seafood forward in flavor so if you enjoy a gumbo with more land based ingredients I would avoid. For sides, the greens were prepared with a coconut milk that might not what you expect but is very flavorful and unique to Peche, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and were tasty. The Shrimp Toasts really hit the spot for a snack/appetizer especially with the sauce. The hush puppies had a great ready crust with a soft interior that helped enhance the flavors. The star though are the Brabant Potatoes... I wanted more of those. Crispy outside with a soft pillowy potato inside that makes you want a double/triple/quadruple order of them. Finally desert, the Key Lime pie was tart and sweet with a great custard consistency. The Peanut Pie was the desert star with a pecan pie level filling with peanuts substituting the pecans. This is a must have desert for anyone who doesn’t have a peanut allergy. Service: My water glass was never empty and dirty plates never got to park themselves on the table. The wait staff were engaging, informative, and excellent with their service. Ambiance: The restaurant has a nice high class feel to it without making you “suit up”. The kitchen is in display and the bar is well stocked with most spirits you may enjoy. The bathrooms are clean.
